Daisy Welsh (she/her) is an enthusiastic and playful Integrative Exercise Physiologist and Pilates Instructor who is passionate about helping people build joyful, sustainable and accessible relationships with movement. At Zebras Australia, Daisy particularly enjoys supporting hypermobile bodies, helping clients better understand their strength, capacity and confidence in movement through an evidence-based and people-informed approach.
Alongside her Exercise Physiology experience, Daisy has a background in Pilates for both children and adults, which she thoughtfully incorporates into her practice. Since graduating with her Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2019, she has worked extensively with children and adults to develop healthy movement patterns through Pilates, play and functional movement approaches that prioritise safety, enjoyment and long-term wellbeing.
Daisy is passionate about creating supportive spaces where movement feels empowering rather than intimidating, and believes there is joy to be found in movement for every body. She has a particular interest in hypermobility, exercise during pregnancy and postpartum, Health at Every Size (HAES)-aligned care, eating disorder support and helping people reconnect with movement in ways that feel accessible and meaningful to them.
Outside of the clinic, Daisy loves going on adventures, trying new things and spending any free time by the ocean. You’ll often find her out in nature hiking, swimming or exploring somewhere new.
